Job Description/Overview:
Are you a compassionate caregiver available on weekends for short shifts? Community Horizons is seeking caregivers to assist individuals with cerebral palsy in a private home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including transfers, showering, and toileting.
Assist with morning routines and bedtime preparation.
Prepare light meals and maintain a clean home environment.
Be available for weekend and occasional weekday coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
Experienced in personal care and transfers.
Familiar with the needs of individuals with cerebral palsy.
Comfortable with pets (dogs and cats).
Experience:
Previous caregiving experience preferred.
Must pass a favorable caregiver background check.
Skills:
Compassionate and patient.
Reliable transportation is essential.
Ability to maintain a clean and comforting environment.
