Job Description/Overview:
Provide caregiving assistance to an adult nonverbal autistic individual in a private home setting. The role involves casual to part-time shifts, offering support during vacations, sickness, and open shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care.
Perform general housekeeping and meal preparation.
Support activities at home and within the community.
Provide overnight supervision (awake shifts).
Qualifications:
Willingness to learn about and understand the needs of the member.
Patience, understanding, and the ability to remain calm in various situations.
Preferred first aid or choking training.
Experience:
Experience with autism is preferred but not required.
Ability to recognize and respond to seizures.
Skills:
Flexibility to pick up various shifts as needed.
Valid driver’s license and favorable background check.

Additional Information:
Wage: $16.32 per hour.
Current need: Up to 25 hours weekly.
Usual hours:
Monday–Friday: 8 AM–4 PM, 4 PM–10 PM, 10 PM–8 AM.
Weekends: 8 AM–12 PM, 12 PM–10 PM, 10 PM–8 AM.
