Position: Group Sales Manager

Job Description/Overview:
As a Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing price quotations and contracting leads for hotels within the sales area. Your role will include implementing MICE sales strategies, preparing business plans, and achieving financial targets for room sales, events, and associated services.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Area Commercial Director to execute MICE sales strategies.
Prepare budgets and business plans for MICE segments across assigned hotels.
Supervise group pricing strategies and ensure compliance with Meliá’s policies.
Analyze group demand, oversee customer contracts, and ensure database accuracy.
Organize site inspections to maximize the conversion of potential leads.
Drive sustainability by promoting energy efficiency and sustainable practices.
Foster communication with the operations team to coordinate site inspections and group activities.
Manage tools such as PMS Opera Cloud and Focus for efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
Fluent in English and French (additional languages are a plus).
Knowledge of B2B, Corporate, and MICE segments.
Proficient in negotiation and communication.
Hands-on, results-oriented approach with strong customer service skills.
Experience:
Relevant experience in group sales management and hospitality.
Familiarity with PMS Opera Cloud and Focus tools.
Skills:
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to travel as required.
