Job Description/Overview:
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is seeking a Care & Support Worker to support individuals with learning disabilities. This role includes assisting customers to remain independent, managing support plans, and ensuring their involvement in social and community activities. The position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individuals with learning disabilities to remain independent.
Manage support plans and liaise with relevant parties.
Encourage participation in social activities and community engagement.
Provide 24-hour supported housing services.
Adhere to safeguarding and medication-handling procedures.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain records and comply with Data Protection policies.
Uphold MTVH’s values of Dare, Care, and Collaborate.
Commit to equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
Complete enhanced background checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Qualifications:
Basic literacy and IT skills.
Experience:
Previous experience as a support worker is required.
Preferred experience in handling medication and safeguarding.
Skills:
A positive attitude and a drive to help customers overcome challenges.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Salary: £22,308 per annum.
