About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented ICT Support Administrator to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave. In this role, you will provide administration and IT support for essential applications, systems, and hardware that enable the College to operate efficiently. You will offer level one and two support for core applications, assist with training, and provide backup for other ICT team members. This position is based on-site at our Wellington CBD office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide level one and two support for College staff regarding core applications and systems.
  • Assist in routing helpdesk traffic and resolving technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain ICT system training documentation and curate content in LinkedIn Learning.
  • Facilitate regular ICT training sessions for staff.
  • Support the ICT Manager with project activities and business-as-usual (BAU) tasks.
  • Participate in system and user testing as required.
  • Help set up and maintain security awareness training for staff.
  • Provide support for IT Support Engineer, Systems Analyst, and LMS/DMS Support Administrator.
  • Foster professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • A keen interest in ICT with previous education or experience in the field.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive and approachable attitude.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience creating engaging training materials.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
