Job Description/Overview:
Maidstone Care Centre, a purpose-built care home specializing in nursing, residential, and dementia care for older people, is seeking Health Care Assistants to join their friendly team. The role involves assisting residents with personal care, promoting their well-being, and participating in social and recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and feeding.
Providing mental and physical stimulation through activities and events.
Supporting residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
Participating in developing and implementing care plans.
Assisting with residents’ mobility and providing specialist support when required.
Qualifications:
Kind, caring, and compassionate nature.
Good listening skills and patience.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility to work shifts.
Proof of the right to work in the UK is mandatory.
Experience:
At least 3 months’ experience in a care environment is preferred.
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not required.
Skills:
Ability to organize and prioritize workloads effectively.
