Job Description/Overview:
Be Caring is seeking community-based Care Assistants in North Tyneside, covering areas such as Cullercoats, North Shields, Monkseaton, Shiremoor, Whitley Bay, and Wallsend. The role focuses on providing personalized care, supporting independence, and connecting individuals to their communities. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care while maintaining dignity.
Promote independence using enabling approaches.
Support individuals in achieving personal outcomes.
Facilitate access to community support and services.
Deliver care based on individual choice and control.
Communicate effectively and document key information.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills.
Punctual and organized.
No prior care experience required; transferable skills from other roles are welcome.
Experience:
Experience in a care role is advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills:
Effective communication.
Ability to document and share information accurately.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay: £12.00/hr (drivers) or £11.50/hr (walkers).
45p per mile for drivers and 20p per mile for cyclists.
