Position Overview
We are looking for a Mandarin Chinese-speaking Copywriter to adapt and transcreate our English marketing content into Simplified Mandarin. You will manage and optimize blog content, PPC ads, website copy, and other marketing materials, ensuring our messaging resonates with Chinese-speaking communities. This role is central to defining the tone of voice for our Mandarin Chinese content and ensuring high-quality, engaging copy.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Localization: Adapt and transcreate marketing materials, including website content, app interfaces, PPC ads, and campaigns, ensuring creativity and market relevance for Mandarin-speaking audiences.
- Blog Management: Write, manage, and optimize blog content and landing pages in collaboration with the SEO team to identify impactful topics and trends related to cybersecurity, regulations, and pop culture.
- External Content: Develop and write content for external partners, including affiliates, advertorials, newsletters, and both online and print copy.
- Quality Control: Proofread existing content and collaborate with freelancers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Tone of Voice: Define and maintain the Mandarin Chinese tone of voice in alignment with Nord Security’s English content guidelines.
Core Requirements
- Language Skills: Native Mandarin Chinese speaker with strong command of English.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in digital copywriting and/or translation, with a portfolio showcasing work in Mandarin Chinese (Simplified).
- Localization: Proven experience in localizing marketing content from English to Mandarin Chinese, creating original and engaging copy.
- SEO Knowledge: Intermediate to high-level understanding of SEO, with the ability to write optimized blog content for search engine rankings and conversions.
- Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and manage tasks and priorities without direct supervision.
- Technical Tools: Familiarity with CAT tools, especially Crowdin, is a plus but not required.
- Passion for Tech: Active interest in technology, cybersecurity, and innovation, with a readiness to learn and adapt.
