Job Description/Overview
Are you looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to make a difference in patient care? We are seeking a Patient Pathway Support Clerk to join our supportive and inclusive team. This role is critical in delivering an efficient and high-quality medical records service for the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate. You’ll ensure medical records are organized and accessible for patient treatment, contributing to safe and efficient care.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely delivery and retrieval of medical records to and from storage locations.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient information.
Perform accurate record-keeping and manage file organization.
Provide excellent customer service and liaise effectively with clinical teams.
Meet daily deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
Essential:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
Experience working with IT software systems.
Desirable:
Higher education qualifications.
Previous experience within the NHS or in a reception role.
Experience
Experience with IT systems and managing documentation.
Desirable experience in medical records or healthcare settings.
Skills
Strong communication and telephone skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Additional Information
Salary: £23,615 per annum (pro-rata).
