Job Description/Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. This full-time, permanent role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to patients’ lives by providing high-quality care in a busy and supportive environment. Full training and induction will be provided, and experience in care is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, feeding, and toileting.
Support patients with their mobility and use of moving and handling equipment.
Help with maintaining patients’ dignity and promoting independence.
Assist in the care of terminally ill patients.
Complete accurate record-keeping of patients’ care.
Work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Qualifications
Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
Experience
Describes an interest in caring for patients in a hospital setting (essential).
Experience as a Care Support Worker (desirable).
Skills
Ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent care.
Understanding of HDFT’s values and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.

Additional Information
Salary: £23,615 per annum, pro-rata.
