Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Executive, Events to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the success of our events division by converting group leads and ensuring departmental revenue and room night targets are met or exceeded. You’ll work closely with the Assistant Manager and Manager to prepare proposals and quotes, ensuring they are delivered within 24 hours in line with Atlantis Dubai’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert group leads to meet and exceed departmental revenue and room night targets.
- Prepare proposals and quotes in line with standard templates, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive demand for resort and hotel venues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver extraordinary events that exceed client expectations.
- Identify new business opportunities and maximize sales potential with a proactive approach.
- Apply strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining brand standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star resort or hotel in Dubai.
- Proven track record in sales and events within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Experience with Delphi software is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Passionate about luxury events, with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing client needs.
- A fearless and curious learner with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Academic qualifications are not essential but are advantageous.
