The Company
Our client is a well-established, Christchurch-based, multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in land development, surveying, planning, urban design, and civil engineering. Known for their proactive and cost-effective solutions, they are experiencing continued growth and are now looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join their team.
The Role
As a Survey Technician, you will be involved in a variety of surveying projects, including land transfer, engineering set-out, as-builts, topographic mapping, and laser scanning. You will work with modern equipment such as GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, and UAVs, using the latest surveying software. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing all types of surveys, including land transfer, engineering set-out, topographic mapping, and laser scanning.
- Using advanced surveying equipment and software, including GNSS, Robotic Total Station, and UAV.
- Delivering high-quality work in a timely manner while collaborating with a supportive team.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Survey Technician.
- Proficiency in 12d, Landonline, and CAD software.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong team player who thrives in a dynamic and social office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand and a current driver’s license.
