Job Description/Overview
An award-winning Chartered Building Surveying and Project Management practice is looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join their London team. Key Responsibilities
Conducting dilapidations, party wall and neighborly matters, pre-acquisition surveys, and building condition surveys.
Managing defects, dispute resolution, and expert reports.
Delivering planned preventative maintenance and reinstatement cost assessments.
Administering contracts (JCT suite of contracts).
Working on diverse projects in commercial offices, industrial spaces, residential properties, and life sciences.
Qualifications
Degree in a construction-related discipline.
Experience in contract administration and familiarity with JCT contracts.
3–5 years of consultancy-based industry experience.
Proven expertise in office and industrial sectors.
Skills
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Proficient in IT tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong ability to work individually or within a team.
Experience
Extensive project and professional experience in surveying.
Experience working within a consultancy environment is preferred.
