Job Description/Overview:
Hilton Hotels is looking for a skilled Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join the Engineering Team in Kuwait. This role ensures that all hotel operations related to engineering and maintenance, including general property maintenance and energy conservation, are working efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing Routine and Preventive Maintenance: Carry out daily and preventive maintenance tasks within the hotel rooms.
Responding to Maintenance Calls: Quickly and efficiently respond to any maintenance calls that arise.
Executing Preventive Maintenance Schedules: Ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained according to required standards.
Assisting with Energy Conservation Program: Contribute to the implementation of the energy conservation program.
Recommending Improvements: Suggest improvements for maintenance systems and energy savings.
Maintaining Tools and Equipment: Keep tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition.
Updating Technical Skills: Continuously update your technical training knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Diploma in a specialized field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing)
Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, ship, restaurant complex, or similar
Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Ability to work independently and within established timeframes
