Job Description/Overview:
The Carreo International is looking for a Kitchen Equipment Technician to handle the maintenance, repair, and installation of kitchen equipment. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills, the ability to work with kitchen staff, and an understanding of kitchen equipment safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining and Repairing Equipment: Troubleshoot, fix, and perform regular maintenance on kitchen equipment like ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and more.
Installing New Equipment: Install new kitchen equipment as required.
Performing Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns.
Collaborating with Kitchen Staff: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Communicating with Others: Collaborate with other food industry professionals and technical staff.
Keeping Records: Maintain logs of repairs and services and manage inventory of kitchen equipment.
Providing Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service to restaurant professionals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/Engineering
Knowledge of kitchen equipment repair and maintenance
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience:
2 – 6 years of experience in a similar role
