Job Description/Overview:
Provide care and companionship to an individual in their home in Keshena, WI. The role includes personal care, housekeeping, and support for daily activities. Work directly in a private home setting, ensuring maximum independence for the individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, feeding, personal hygiene, transfers, trach care, self-catheterization, colostomy care, and range-of-motion exercises.
Cooking and cleaning to maintain a tidy environment.
Companionship and activities such as watching TV.
Collaborate as part of a self-directed care team.
Qualifications:
Compassionate, reliable, punctual, and kind.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to cook is a plus.
Experience:
Prior caregiving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Skills:
Personal care skills.
Light housekeeping.
Effective communication and punctuality.
Salary:
$17.00 hourly
Contract:
Part-time
Working Pattern:
Shifts: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m., 3 p.m. – 11 p.m., 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Weekend availability preferred.
