Job Description/Overview

 

The Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a reliable, organized, and enthusiastic Receptionist to join the Older Adults Community Mental Health Services team. The role involves providing efficient reception and office support, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to the smooth operation of the office. This is a busy and varied role requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

 

The position is based at Manthorpe Centre, Grantham Hospital, but may occasionally require travel to other bases to support the service or attend training. Mileage is reimbursed at a standard rate.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Perform routine office procedures, including typing, formatting correspondence, filing, and data entry.

 

Manage referrals, waiting lists, and other statistical data to assist the team coordinator.

 

Maintain accurate healthcare records, including filing, archiving, and document scanning.

 

Process and manage electronic orders, receipts, and payments for goods and services.

 

Handle a wide range of enquiries professionally and sensitively while maintaining confidentiality.

 

Update and utilize various electronic systems such as email, SHARON, and Datix.

 

Qualifications

 

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Business & Administration.

 

GCSE English (Grade C or above, or Grade 4 or above).

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

Experience

 

Essential:

 

Previous experience working in a busy office environment.

 

Desirable:

 

Familiarity with Trust databases.

 

Skills

 

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

 

A calm and professional telephone manner.

 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

An approachable and professional demeanor.

 

Hours

 

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.

£23,615 per annum (NHS AfC Band 2)
