Position: Help Desk Support Level 

Location: Sydney, Australia (Blacktown area or Near Mascot Airport)

Job Description/Overview:

Charterhouse AU is seeking a skilled Level 1/2 Help Desk Support professional for a 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension. The role involves providing technical support to clients, resolving issues, and ensuring timely service delivery both remotely and on-site.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Provide Level 1/2 technical support to clients.

 

Assess the severity of client issues and prioritize them based on business impact.

 

Monitor and manage incoming technical support tickets through the ticketing system.

 

Deploy software and hardware-based solutions both remotely and on-site.

 

Assist clients via telephone, email, or other communication methods, leveraging technical resources to resolve issues efficiently.

 

Maintain detailed records of client issues and resolutions.

 

Travel locally as required

 

Qualifications:

 

Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.

 

Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, or similar certifications preferred.

 

Additional Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.

 

Experience:

 

1-2 years of technical support experience (solution or service provider experience preferred).

 

Technical Knowledge:

 

Windows Server (2012/2016/2019).

 

Server hardware, networking, and environments.

 

Windows Active Directory and related Windows Security.

 

Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Hyper-V.

 

Office 365 and Azure-based services.

 

Basic networking principles.

 

Skills:

 

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

 

Positive, energetic, and self-motivated.

 

Exceptional ability to self-manage and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

 

Additional Information:

 

Hourly Rate: $30 per hour + Superannuation.

 

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension).

 

Travel Requirements: Local travel; valid driver’s license required.
