Position: Call Center Operator

Job Description/Overview:
NSW Government is seeking multiple Call Centre Operators to join their team on an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, managing inquiries, and providing administrative support within a high-volume and fast-paced contact centre environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing internal and external inquiries accurately and courteously.
Maintain accurate records and update internal databases using in-house software systems.
Handle inbound calls and direct customers to the appropriate contact centre specialists efficiently.
Stay informed about departmental practices and procedures and communicate them effectively to customers.
Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a call centre or customer service role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Technically savvy and quick to learn new software systems.
Previous government experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience:
Prior experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving scenarios.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work on a rotating roster between 7 AM and 7 PM, Monday to Friday.

Hourly Rate: $34.59 P/H + Super
Work Hours: 25 hours per week (5 hours per day)
Rotating roster shifts change every 4 weeks.
