Job Description/Overview:
An established SME non-bank lending business specializing in mortgage lending seeks a Business Development Manager to expand broker and aggregator networks, drive revenue, and grow the business. This role offers career progression opportunities, including potential advancement to state management as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new and existing broker and aggregator networks.
Generate and follow up on leads, conduct discovery sessions, and deliver the value proposition.
Close deals and handle objections effectively.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline of current and future business opportunities.
Respond to inbound inquiries from partners and prospects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial business development.
Experience in non-bank lending (mortgage lending experience is highly desirable).
Knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
Familiarity with business development tools.
Experience working with channel partners to generate leads and referrals.
