Job Description/Overview:
An SME non-bank lending business specializing in consumer lending is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand broker and aggregator networks, generate revenue, and support the company’s planned growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand broker and aggregator networks through lead generation.
Conduct meetings, discovery sessions, and deliver value propositions.
Follow up on leads, address objections, and close deals.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Manage both inbound and outbound sales, depending on pipeline status.
Maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline of current and future business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial business development.
Non-bank lending and consumer lending experience (highly desirable).
Full sales cycle experience, from prospecting to closing.
Proficiency in business development tools (e.g., Apollo, Lusha, Mailchimp).
Experience working with channel partners to generate leads and referrals.
Non-Technical Requirements:
