Boscov’s Department Store is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. The role involves assisting with HR functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, and timekeeping, and providing coworker support. The position requires independent work in a fast-paced HR office environment, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals with a background in HR.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing Human Resources office functions under the guidance of the HR Manager.
Recruitment: Review resumes, complete initial screenings, and schedule interviews.
Benefits Administration: Collect and submit benefits paperwork for new hires.
Timekeeping: Enter schedules into the timekeeping system, maintain timecards, and ensure payroll budget adherence.
Provide coworker support, addressing questions and concerns, and coordinating meetings with the HR Manager.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR role, preferably in retail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
Ability to learn HR computer systems and store systems.
Availability for 28 hours per week, including weekends.

Salary Range:
Salary Estimate: $48,000 – $72,000 per year (Glassdoor estimate).
Median Salary: $59,000 per year.
