Job Description/Overview
ABF Freight, a trusted national less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, is looking for a Dockworker/Forklift Operator to load and unload trailers, operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and manage paperwork. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires attention to detail and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
Load and unload trailers efficiently.
Complete all required paperwork related to the loading/unloading process.
Operate mobile technology as needed.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience: No specific experience required, though prior experience with material handling equipment is beneficial.
Work Hours:
The schedule may vary depending on the terminal location.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $43,000 – $62,000 per year (Glassdoor estimate).
Payment Schedule: Weekly payment.
