Job Description/Overview:
ExpertCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Caregivers to support individuals with disabilities in leading independent and fulfilling lives. This part-time role offers weekly pay, virtual training, and a supportive work environment where you can make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Help clients achieve independent living goals as outlined in their Individual Plan of Service (IPOS).
Provide companionship and monitor emotional and behavioral health.
Promote social interaction and participation in activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
Maintain accurate records of client progress.
Qualifications:
Passion for supporting individuals with special needs.
Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
Effective and respectful communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Access to a smartphone for app-based clocking in and out.
Successful completion of a background check.
Experience:
Not required, but previous experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and caregiving skills.
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
