Job Description/Overview:
John Zink Hamworthy Combustion, a world leader in combustion and emission control products, is looking for a Sales & Application Engineer to join their team in Dudelange, Luxembourg. This role focuses on developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, particularly within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries, and preparing proposals for thermal oxidizers. The role involves a mix of technical and commercial responsibilities and offers opportunities for business travel and international collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare customer proposals from solution design to order award, particularly focused on thermal oxidizers.
Develop and maintain profitable relationships with customers, focusing on the European and Caspian markets.
Keep up-to-date with the market, especially in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
Provide customer support during technical evaluations while driving commercial negotiations.
Organize and participate in customer visits, product promotion seminars, and exhibitions.
Promote operational excellence and profitability for the business.
Qualifications:
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Fluency in English.
Previous experience in a similar or related position.
Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time).
Ability to work within a challenging, international, and multidisciplinary team.
Experience:
Relevant experience in technical sales (preferred).
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of combustion and emission control products (preferred).
