Job Description/Overview:

Charterhouse AU is seeking a Level 1/2 Help Desk Support Specialist for a 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension. The role involves providing technical support to clients both remotely and on-site while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Provide Level 1/2 technical support to clients.

 

Assess and prioritize client issues based on business impact.

 

Monitor and manage technical support ticket requests using the company’s ticketing system.

 

Deploy software and hardware solutions remotely and on-site.

 

Communicate with clients via telephone, email, or other methods to resolve issues efficiently.

 

Document detailed notes on client issues and resolutions.

 

Travel locally as required (must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record).

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

 

Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are highly regarded.

 

1-2 years of technical support experience, preferably in a solution or service provider setting.

 

Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and self-managing with exceptional interpersonal skills.

 

Technical Skills:

 

Knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019).

 

Familiarity with server hardware, environments, and networking.

 

Proficiency in Windows Active Directory and Windows Security.

 

Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Hyper-V.

 

Working knowledge of Office 365 and Azure-based services.

 

Understanding of basic networking principles.

 

Additional Information:

 

Contract Duration: 3 months with a high likelihood of extension.

 

Hourly Rate: $30 + super.

 

Locations: Blacktown area or near Mascot Airport.

 

Work Requirements: Local travel; a valid driver’s license and clean driving history are mandatory.
