Job Description/Overview:
HealthBay seeks an experienced caregiver to assist elders with daily tasks. This role focuses on providing compassionate care, supporting seniors with their physical needs, and fostering a positive living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual attention and support to seniors with sensitivity and respect.
Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
Maintain a clean, safe, and secure living environment.
Prepare and serve balanced meals following nutritional guidelines.
Aid with transfers and mobility.
Monitor seniors’ conditions and notify medical personnel or family members of changes.
Facilitate social activities and companionship for seniors.
Qualifications:
Prior caregiving experience or related field experience.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Knowledge of basic caregiving procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred).
Skills:
Ability to create a caring and supportive environment for seniors.
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Experience:
Relevant caregiving experience is required.
