Job Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Skateboarding Content Writer Intern to join our editorial team. As a remote intern, you’ll work closely with the Site Editor to create dynamic, engaging content that showcases the world of skateboarding, streetwear, and skate culture. This internship is a great opportunity to develop your writing skills in a fast-paced, digital environment and contribute to a global skateboarding community.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and Produce Content: Conceptualize, produce, and write engaging stories for the DOSE platform.
- Pitch Ideas: Regularly pitch fresh ideas for new articles and viral content.
- Interview Preparation: Oversee the creation of questions for interviews with key figures in the skateboarding community.
- Maintain Brand Voice: Ensure all content is consistent with DOSE’s tone and editorial standards.
- Event Representation: Represent DOSE SKATEBOARDING at relevant events when appropriate.
Requirements
- Passion for Skateboarding: Must have an expansive knowledge of skate culture and a genuine passion for skateboarding.
- University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled at university (preferably a journalism student).
- Writing Experience: Experience writing for digital, print, or social platforms; copywriting experience is a plus.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create stories that are snappy, conversational, and informative.
- Creativity and Efficiency: Strong ability to generate fresh content ideas and work under tight deadlines.
