Job Description/ Overview
Stegra seeks a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their new green steel facility. The role focuses on performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting production with a commitment to sustainability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective electrical repairs and maintenance in low and medium voltage systems.
Collaborate with operators and technicians to improve production processes.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagrams, blueprints, and tests.
Program and configure electrical control systems.
Inspect and maintain transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Replace equipment, wiring, and fixtures as needed.
Optimize maintenance programs and assess spare part requirements.
Train and guide operators in maintenance tasks.
Implement and enforce safety procedures, such as Lock Out-Tag Out.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in the work environment.
Experience & Qualifications
Extensive experience in the heavy industry; steel production experience is a strong advantage.
Electrical gymnasium training (minimum three years).
Knowledge of industrial automation systems, preferably Siemens or Honeywell.
Workplace safety certifications (e.g., ESA / OSHA).
Familiarity with Swedish and EU safety codes.
Ability to work independently and with precision.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
Good command of English; Swedish language skills are a plus.
