Job Description/Overview:
Genus Patris Hospice seeks a Homemaker/Caregiver to provide personal care and household services, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for patients in Humble, TX, and North Houston areas. The role includes assisting with daily activities and personal care while supporting patients coping with terminal illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Provide household services, such as light cleaning and laundry, essential to patient comfort.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment as part of the care plan.
Support patients with daily activities (ADLs).
Follow hospice orientation guidelines to address patient and family needs.
Qualifications:
Clean background check.
Bilingual skills (preferred).
Completion of hospice orientation.
Experience:
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as a healthcare caregiver.
Skills:
Compassionate care for patients with terminal illnesses.
Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment.
