Job Description/Overview
The Call Center Technician will support the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Tip Line (TL), which operates 24/7 to receive and process reports of criminal or suspicious activities. The role involves answering inbound calls, processing web tips, reviewing and analyzing information, and collaborating with federal staff to address reported issues.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and process web tips efficiently and professionally.
Review, analyze, and forward tips for further action.
Utilize telephony systems, CRM, ticket trackers, and other software tools.
Research information across multiple databases and communicate findings effectively.
Engage with stakeholders to conceptualize scenarios and resolve issues.
Provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Must pass a Federal background check.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a contact center or similar environment.
Experience in handling inbound calls, managing requests/complaints, and database searching.
Ability to multitask and work independently while analyzing information.
Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Active listening and the ability to handle sensitive information.
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
