Job Description:
Rakan Engineering General Trading & Contracting L.L.C is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tendering, pre-bidding, and cost estimation processes within the construction industry. This role is critical in ensuring accurate project estimates and successful bidding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle tender requirements and ensure the completion of detailed and accurate estimations.
- Perform pre-bidding and tendering activities, including reviewing tender documents and specifications.
- Develop cost estimates for civil engineering projects based on drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary project data and insights.
- Maintain updated knowledge of construction costs, market rates, and industry standards.
- Provide technical and financial advice during the tendering process.
Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years in civil estimation, with proven expertise in pre-bidding and tendering.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in handling tender requirements and cost estimation.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost structures.
- Other Requirements:
- Transferable Visa (Article 18), including project visas.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Residence Location: Kuwait.
- Career Level: Management.
- Field of Study: Civil Engineering (الهندسة).
