Position: Sales Development Representative

Job Description/Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative at WEX Inc., you’ll help drive the company’s growth by expanding the sales pipeline and setting qualified meetings for the field team. This role focuses on prospecting, lead qualification, and relationship building, with a clear path to transition into an Account Executive role.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to engage prospects and set qualified appointments with decision-makers.
Communicate with key personnel, including C-Level executives, via phone and email.
Collaborate with the field team to ensure successful appointments.
Use Salesforce for documentation, account processing, and workflow management.
Meet monthly quotas for qualified appointments.
Participate in ongoing sales training.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, G Suite, and Salesforce.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and solve problems effectively.
Phone sales and teamwork experience preferred.
Experience:
Sales experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong sales, customer service, and time management abilities.
Problem-solving and adaptability to dynamic team environments.
Compensation:
Base pay: $21.00 – $27.30/hour.
Most sales roles are eligible for commission.
