Job Description/Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating sales, marketing, and communication efforts in Western Alaska. This position focuses on acquiring new customers, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies to grow the bulk fuel, home heating, and propane markets. The role requires frequent travel to meet with terminal managers and customers to build strong relationships and differentiate the company’s services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct customer visits and calls to secure heating fuel sales.
Draft and execute marketing plans for company locations.
Analyze customer needs and market trends for strategic sales opportunities.
Attend trade shows to network with potential and existing customers.
Resolve service-related issues and implement service improvements.
Provide accurate sales documentation, quotes, and contracts.
Track marketing efforts using CRM software.
Prepare and present sales information to management.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
2-4 years of related experience.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel; basic proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
QuickBooks and Act!, LLC experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong customer service, communication, and public speaking skills.
Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of business principles and sales strategies.
Experience:
Related experience in sales or customer service.

Additional Information:
