Job Description/Overview:
Westbuild is an established Australian-owned company and a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of cement-based building products. We are looking for experienced and motivated individuals to join our production team in Wangara. This full-time position includes operating production equipment and forklifts in a modern automated facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate various production equipment, including automated bagging and palletising lines.
Safely operate a forklift and complete daily checks.
Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of plant and equipment.
Ensure products are correctly labelled.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Complete production documentation accurately.
Keep the work area clean and unobstructed.
Qualifications:
Current forklift ticket.
Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
Experience:
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.
Experience with automated/robotic packaging equipment is an advantage but not necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work well in a team.
Strong attention to detail.
