Job Description/Overview:
Collins Adelaide is a family-owned transport business with a strong tradition of exceptional customer service. We are seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to join our team at Eastern Creek. This role involves safely and efficiently loading and unloading trailers within our depot, ensuring smooth operations across chilled, ambient, and frozen storage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload refrigerated and tautliner trailers using forklifts.
Safely restrain and store freight.
Operate forklifts across various storage areas (ambient, chilled, cold, and frozen).
Follow food safety and HACCP regulations.
Identify and escalate safety issues, hazards, and risks.
Complete manual loading documentation.
Qualifications:
Current LF Forklift license.
Experience:
2+ years of forklift operation experience.
Experience with palletised freight is preferred.
Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments.
Skills:
Ability to adhere to WHS and safety regulations.
Strong attention to safety and food quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
