Position: Call Center Agent

Location : Senningerberg, Luxembourg

Job Description/Overview:

Luxair is seeking a Call Center Agent to join their LuxairTours department. The role involves handling customer inquiries, selling LuxairTours packages and Luxair Luxembourg Airlines flights, managing booking requests, and offering support until the customer’s departure. Additionally, the agent will be responsible for proactive outreach to clients, addressing operational issues, and contributing to process improvements within the call center.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Answer phone calls from direct clients and travel agents, selling LuxairTours stays and Luxair flights.

 

Handle booking requests, modifications, and ensure support up to the client’s departure.

 

Contact clients and travel agents proactively to offer promotions and deals.

 

Serve as the main point of contact for operational issues related to phone bookings.

 

Suggest improvements to processes and task organization to enhance call center efficiency.

 

Perform administrative tasks related to the call center (e.g., email taskforce, CRM).

 

Support Central Back Office, travel agencies, and staff travel departments.

 

Occasionally participate in promotional events and study trips.

 

Respond to Emergency Response Action Plan requirements according to established procedures.

 

Qualifications:

 

Diploma in travel agency qualifications or equivalent, or relevant experience.

 

Dynamic, with strong sales and customer service skills.

 

Experience in a travel agency or call center environment.

 

Customer-oriented, with the ability to meet client needs commercially.

 

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

 

Proficiency in MS Office and other common office tools.

 

Fluent in French, German, and English (both spoken and written). Knowledge of Luxembourgish is an asset.

 

Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Strong commercial mindset and ability to work autonomously.

 

Good organizational and time management skills.

 

Ability to handle stress and prioritize tasks.

 

Experience:

 

Prior experience in a call center or travel agency is preferred.

 

Skills:

 

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Strong attention to detail and active listening skills.

 

Resilient under pressure and responsive to customer needs.

Additional Information:

 

Training will be provided to master the department’s various systems and booking procedures.

 

Fluency in additional languages is considered a plus.

 

Experience with Amadeus is an asset.
