The International Language Institute (ILI) is dedicated to providing exceptional language education programs to students from around the globe. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and play a key role in enhancing student enrollment, expanding market reach, and driving business growth.
Position Overview
As Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with senior management to oversee marketing initiatives, operational activities, and program development. Your primary goal will be to enhance enrollment, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster partnerships that support the Institute’s long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy and Program Growth:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase student enrollment and expand the school’s market reach.
- Plan and manage budgets for marketing, recruitment, and operational initiatives.
- Program Development:
- Refine language program curriculum and services to align with market demands and student needs.
- Ensure compliance with provincial standards, immigration policies, and licensing requirements.
- Partnerships and Representation:
- Represent ILI in developing partnerships with external organizations and agents.
- Travel as needed to meet partners and promote the school’s programs.
- Operational Oversight:
- Recruit, hire, and train teachers and staff to support operational and marketing objectives.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of programs and marketing activities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Postsecondary education, preferably in business, education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, education, or business management (Canadian experience preferred).
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Office 365 is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Canadian education system and language training sector is an asset.
- Familiarity with international education markets is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with budget management and financial planning is an asset.
Language Requirements
- English proficiency required (French not required).
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $31.00 per hour.
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime.
- Additional Pay: Bonus and overtime pay.
