Job Description/Overview
As the Supervisor Food Services, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of high-quality nutrition and food services to patients at Caboolture Hospital. Your role includes coordinating daily operations, supervising the Food Service Officers, and implementing ongoing quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the Nutrition and Food Service Management Team, functioning effectively as a team member.
Undertake various administrative and operational duties, including menu work, food preparation, stock rotation, plating line, trolley delivery to wards, and dishwashing.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations and hospital food safety practices.
Ensure compliance with the department’s security procedures.
Actively contribute to health equity initiatives, supporting the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
Qualifications
Proven experience in food service management or similar roles, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Understanding of food hygiene regulations and safety protocols.
Commitment to promoting health equity and supporting diverse communities.

Salary
$67,462 – $71,412 per annum
