Job Description / Overview
Prosper Fingal, a part of the Prosper Group, is a community-focused organization offering health-related and social services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. We are currently seeking a qualified Social Care Worker to join our Day Service team in Swords. This role requires a compassionate and professional individual who aligns with our values of respect, progressiveness, and positivity.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate and support individuals with intellectual disabilities in their day-to-day activities.
Promote a person-centered approach to help individuals achieve their full potential.
Ensure the delivery of services aligns with New Directions guidelines.
Engage individuals in community connection programs and activities.
Maintain high standards of care while fostering an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
Degree-level qualification (Level 7/8) in Social Care or a related field.
Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for Adults with Disabilities.
Previous experience in disability services (preferred).
Experience
Demonstrated experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Understanding of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in day services or similar settings.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to promote independence and community integration.
