Job Description/Overview
Enable Ireland, a renowned organization recognized as one of Ireland’s 150 Best Employers 2023, is seeking highly motivated Relief Family Support Workers to join its Family Support Services team in North Tipperary. This role involves providing in-home and community-based support to children with additional needs and their families, ensuring flexibility with evening and weekend work as required.
As part of our team, you will contribute to making a real difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities, working under the supervision of the Family Support & Respite Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-home and community-based support to children with additional needs and their families.
Collaborate closely with the Family Support & Respite Coordinator to deliver tailored support services.
Work flexibly during evenings and weekends to meet the needs of families.
Qualifications
Minimum QQI Level 5 Childcare qualification (8 modules, including special needs) or completion of Year 1 of a related degree (e.g., Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology).
Alternatively, SNA qualification or a relevant health care qualification is required.
Experience
Desirable: At least 1 year’s experience working with children with additional needs.
Skills
Up-to-date training in Manual Handling, First Aid, Children First, Infection Control, and PPE is advantageous.
A full, clean driving license with no restrictions is desirable.

Variable working hours (hours negotiable).
Annual leave entitlement of 10.7% of hours worked.
Salary Scale: €32,639 to €39,499 pro rata per annum (subject to LSI).
Subject to Garda vetting and reference checks.
