Position: Live-In Caregiver

Job Description/Overview:
Visiting Angels of Salt Lake City is seeking compassionate live-in caregivers to provide in-home support for seniors and adults with disabilities. Caregivers will stay in clients’ homes during shifts to deliver essential care and companionship. A private room will be provided for rest and personal time.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with bathing, showering, and other hygiene needs.
Support incontinence care, including changing briefs and emptying catheter bags.
Provide recovery care for post-surgery or illness clients.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals based on dietary needs.
Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
Assist with safe transfers and mobility.
Deliver specialized care for dementia and Alzheimer’s clients.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and dishes.
Provide medication reminders.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
Negative TB test result.
Willingness to commit to a live-in schedule.
CNA certification (preferred).
Experience in caregiving or related fields (preferred).
Experience:
1+ year of caregiving experience (preferred).
Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and problem-solving.
Dependability and proactive attitude.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for caregiving.

Additional Information:
Pay: $260/day (Monday–Friday), $280/day (Saturday–Sunday).
Weekly hours: 15–40 hours.
