Job Description/Overview:
No Worries Care is seeking a highly skilled caregiver to provide complex care for a woman with Parkinson’s at her home near St. Vincent’s Hospital. The client is non-verbal and communicates using American Sign Language (ASL). She requires hands-on assistance for transfers, ambulation, and daily living activities.
The role requires caregivers to be female, vaccinated, and wear a mask in the home.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on assistance with all transfers and ambulation.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Communicate effectively with the client using ASL.
Follow infection control protocols, including wearing a mask.
Qualifications:
Skilled in caregiving for individuals with complex needs.
Ability to communicate with ASL.
Female caregiver as per family request.
Vaccination against COVID-19.
Experience:
Prior experience with caregiving for individuals with Parkinson’s or similar conditions is preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in ASL.
Patience and empathy.
Physical strength for hands-on assistance.

Additional Information:
Day shifts: 13 hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Night shifts (NOC): 12-13 hours on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
Pay rate: $24/hour.
Time-and-a-half pay for holidays worked.
