Job Description/Overview
Soltex is a leading Australian-owned provider of premium retractable awnings, roofs, blinds, and all-weather solutions. They are seeking a motivated Sales & Customer Experience Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role involves being the face of the showroom, assisting customers, and supporting the sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales and delivering excellent customer service, with opportunities for career growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in the showroom, handle incoming calls, and respond to web-based inquiries.
Educate customers on Soltex’s premium products and guide them through the sales process.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations tailored to customers’ needs.
Provide administrative support to the Business Development and Sales teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and seek out new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales records and ensure a smooth order-to-invoice process.
Promote Soltex’s core values and uphold high standards of customer care.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a product-based role (home improvement or construction experience is a bonus but not required).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an engaging and charismatic personality.
High level of organisation, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general administrative software.
Experience
Previous sales experience is required.
Experience in customer service or as a Customer Experience Coordinator is beneficial.
