Job Description/Overview

 

Gerflor Australasia, a global leader in flooring and interior finishing solutions, is seeking a National Residential Sales Manager to oversee and manage sustainable, profitable sales across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves leading a team of Residential Territory Managers, executing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Residential Territory Managers to achieve sales targets.

 

Develop and implement KPIs, call cycle planning, and account management strategies.

 

Provide detailed product knowledge and guidance to the sales team.

 

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, offering personalized service.

 

Monitor customer satisfaction and address escalated issues.

 

Lead new product launches and represent the company at industry events.

 

Implement pricing policies and ensure compliance with retail partners.

 

Collaborate with other departments to maximize opportunities and deliver customer solutions.

 

Provide timely and accurate sales reports.

 

Qualifications

 

Proven experience in business development, marketing, and/or sales within the building products, flooring, or interior design markets.

 

A business qualification or equivalent years of industry experience.

 

Demonstrated success in leading teams and achieving performance KPIs.

 

Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM systems, Microsoft Navision, and MS Office Suite.

 

Valid driver’s license and willingness to undertake interstate travel.

 

Experience

 

Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within sales or business development.

 

Experience working in a global organization is highly desirable.

 

Skills

 

Strong business acumen, priority management, and negotiation skills.

 

Excellent interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships.

 

Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure.

 

Ability to communicate brand values and consumer insights effectively.
