Job Description/Overview:
JBS Australia’s Northern Division is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Officer to join the Shipping & Documentation team. Based in Riverview, this role provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic export shipping environment within a global organization. You’ll be collaborating with an experienced team to handle export logistics and order fulfillment for JBS’s extensive meat and food product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage export logistics, from production to loadout, for specific markets
Monitor inventory and production levels to ensure timely processing of shipping orders and allocations
Accurately maintain export orders in the ERP system to meet order fulfillment timelines
Coordinate with external suppliers (Container Shipping Lines, Carriers) and internal teams (Sales, Production, Documentation)
Ensure compliance with International Trade regulations and meet Customer requirements
Provide responsive and high-quality support to both internal and external customers
Qualifications:
Prior experience in export documentation or shipping logistics is preferred
Strong customer service skills
Ability to perform accurately under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Effective time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated administrative, logistics, and data entry skills
Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
