Job Description/Overview
We are currently hiring for the role of Heavy Equipment Operator in Ahmadi, Kuwait. In this position, you will operate various heavy machinery to support construction and building projects. This includes excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes. Your main responsibilities will involve following safety protocols, performing routine equipment maintenance, and completing assigned tasks such as digging, grading, and lifting materials.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Heavy Machinery: Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and other equipment as required.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
Task Execution: Complete tasks such as digging, grading, leveling, and lifting heavy materials according to project requirements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with construction crews and supervisors, following instructions and contributing to project goals.
Communication: Report any issues or concerns with equipment or tasks promptly.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all operational guidelines and construction regulations.
Additional Duties: Assist with other construction-related tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction.
Skills:
Proficient in operating excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Physical stamina to work in different weather conditions.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license and certifications for operating heavy equipment.
Language Requirement: English, Beginner level.
Benefits
Salary: 150,000 – 250,000 KWD per month
