Job Description/Overview:
A healthcare facility in Berlin, Germany, is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals for the Nurse & Caregiver positions. These roles are essential in providing high-quality care and support to patients in need. The Nurse and Caregiver will be involved in direct patient care, personal assistance, patient monitoring, and emotional support, contributing to the overall well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Nursing Care: Provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with daily activities.
Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support. Ensure a clean and safe environment for the patients.
Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients’ health conditions, document vital signs, symptoms, and report changes to the healthcare team.
Emotional Support: Offer emotional support, engage with patients through conversation, listen to their needs, and provide reassurance.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Participate in care planning and work collaboratively to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Education and Licensing: A valid nursing degree or certification is required for the Nurse position. Caregivers may not need formal education, but relevant training or certification is advantageous.
Experience: Prior experience in nursing or caregiving, especially in healthcare or geriatric settings, is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, equipment, and procedures is beneficial.
Compassion and Empathy: Ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate care. A genuine desire to make a positive impact on patients’ lives is essential.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in the local language, German, is typically required.
Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing patient needs in a healthcare environment.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing or caregiving role
