Job Description/Overview:
TuneCore, a leading music distribution service for independent artists, is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends and provide data-driven insights. As a part of TuneCore’s mission to support artists globally, the Data Analyst will work with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and help drive innovation in the music industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
Develop reports using Excel and Google Sheets.
Perform data extraction and manipulation using SQL and Excel.
Collaborate with teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy through regular audits.
Present findings to stakeholders.
Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing.
Maintain version control using GitHub.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
Knowledge of version control systems (GitHub).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience:
3-5+ years as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Skills:
SQL, Excel, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and foundational analytics skills.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $103,000 to $123,000 per year.
Hybrid Work Model: Option to work predominantly remotely, with 7 days per month in-office in Brooklyn, NY.
