Job Overview:
As a Junior Copywriter, you will create on-brand, engaging social media copy for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. You’ll also review and edit written content, pitch article ideas, and implement SEO best practices. This remote role is perfect for an organized, creative writer passionate about TV, movies, and digital media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit social media copy for various platforms and clients.
- Review and polish written content for blogs and social media.
- Pitch ideas for articles and assist in content development.
- Implement SEO and copywriting best practices to optimize content.
- Maintain internal guidelines for brand voice and tone.
- Develop content strategies to enhance the quality of written material.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or higher).
- 1+ years of experience as a copywriter, ideally within journalism.
- Strong knowledge of SEO.
- Proficiency in social media platforms.
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, self-motivated work ethic and a friendly, enthusiastic demeanor.
- A passion for TV and movies.

Compensation:
- US Salary: $27,000 – $32,000 per year (USD), based on experience.
- CA Salary: $36,000 – $44,000 per year (CAD), based on experience.
